Mykonos Resort Anda Pangasinan: Pool, Pets & Zero Corkage

Here is the thing nobody warns you about Mykonos Resort Anda Pangasinan: the hardest part of the trip is checking out. I arrived expecting a pretty photo backdrop and left wishing to come back. This Greek-inspired beach resort in Tondol is small, whitewashed in spirit, and very good at making you forget you never left Luzon. The first thing you notice about the place are the flags that wave in the wind featuring the Greek, American, and Philippine flags. To explain, Sir Pete, husband to Ma’am Len is of Greek bloodline, lived in the US, and settled here in the Philippines in this small patch of paradise in Luzon. Secondly, the place is home to friendly pets: a large black poodle, a Jack Terrier, et al.  Both husband and wife manage Mykonos, with fervor and gusto I might say.

What Is Mykonos Resort in Anda, Pangasinan?

Mykonos Resort is a Department of Tourism-accredited oceanfront getaway at Purok 2, Tondol, Anda, Pangasinan 2405. It opened in May 2023 and borrows its name, and its mood, from the famous Greek island of Mykonos. The owners pitch it as a mini Greek-inspired getaway, and the Santorini-style look backs that up.

The setup is deliberately intimate. There are only three air-conditioned rooms and one kubo, so this is a beach resort in Anda Pangasinan built for exclusive bookings, small groups and private celebrations rather than crowds. Rates run from ₱3,000 to ₱7,500 per room, which is easy to justify once you see the pool.

Infinity Pool, Jacuzzi and Balcony Views

Let's start with the showpiece. The infinity pool and jacuzzi are the reason half the group chat said yes immediately. Because the property is booked exclusively, the private resort with infinity pool in Pangasinan feels like it belongs to you, not to a line of strangers waiting for a photo spot.

Then there is the private balcony. Whether you catch the sunrise with coffee or the sunset with something colder, the ocean view does most of the work. I would call the balcony the best seat in the house, but the roof deck and poolside chill area are strong competition.

Rooms and Amenities at Mykonos Resort

The three air-conditioned rooms are modern and clean, with the practical extras that make a stay easier:

• Dining utensils, a small fridge and an electric kettle in every room

• Private comfort rooms with hot showers and bidets

• A 43-inch Smart TV with Netflix in 4K

• Unlimited Wi-Fi

Yes, it is a beach resort with 4K streaming, which feels almost rude to the horizon. But on a rainy afternoon you will be grateful.

The standout is the cozy kubo: a modern, air-conditioned native hut with two rooms. It delivers the island-style charm without giving up comfort, and it suits families or barkadas who want to stay close together.

Why No Corkage Fee Is the Real Luxury

My favorite policy here is also the least glamorous: no corkage fee. Bring your own food and drinks, grill for free, and use the large common kitchen. Anyone who has paid resort prices for a bottle of water will understand why this matters.

There is no in-house restaurant, so plan accordingly. The nearby restaurants specialize in seafood, including fish, crabs, shrimp, squid and shells, caught fresh that day and cooked in their own kitchens. Delivery and catering services are available, so you can have a seafood spread at your table without leaving the pool.

A Pet-Friendly Resort in Pangasinan

Finding a pet-friendly resort in Pangasinan with a private pool and beachfront is rare, so this one deserves a mention. Your dogs and cats are welcome, provided you show updated rabies and flea records. It is a small rule that keeps the place clean and everyone's fur babies safe.

Things to Do on Site

You will not run out of ways to do nothing, and a few ways to do something:

• Play beach volleyball or go seashell picking on the white sand

• Use the free bamboo raft to explore the shallow waters at your own pace

• Hang out at the roof deck, the free cottages with lights, or the poolside lounge

• Rent a Krystal kayak, or book a floating cottage tour to nearby sandbars and islands

I will admit the raft is a good equalizer: nobody looks cool on it, and everyone has a great time.

Nearby Attractions Around Tondol, Anda

The resort sits close to some of Pangasinan's best sights, which makes it a smart base for a long weekend:

• Tondol White Sand Beach, nicknamed the "Little Boracay of the North"

• Magsaysay Island, Panacalan Sandbar and Cory Islands

• Hundred Islands National Park

• Bolinao Waterfalls and Enchanted Cave

• Sungayan Grill River Cruise, billed as one of the cleanest rivers in Luzon

Between island-hopping and the river cruise, you can fill a day easily and still be back for the pool by sunset.

Perfect for Private Events and Group Getaways

A family reunion, team outing, birthday or intimate celebration works well here. The exclusive booking format gives your group privacy, and the beachfront setting does the decorating. For peace of mind, the resort now has backup solar power and an updated generator for brownouts, which is not exactly romantic, but it matters when the music is playing and the grill is going.

How to Book Mykonos Resort Anda Pangasinan

Bookings are direct with the resort owner, with no third-party agent or middleman. Slots are limited, so reserve early, especially for weekends and holidays.

• Address: Purok 2, Tondol, Anda, Pangasinan 2405

• Phone: 0919 090 0755

• Email: mykonos.resort.ph@yahoo.com

• Rates: ₱3,000 to ₱7,500 per room

If you want a quiet, private beach resort in Anda Pangasinan with a view, a pool and a policy that lets you bring your own feast, Mykonos Resort delivers. It is small, thoughtful and a little bit Greek, and it earns its place on any Pangasinan itinerary. Just book early, because the best things here are limited and the hardest part really is leaving.

The Siakol–Repakol–Noel Palomo Feud: A Deep Dive into the Battle for Songs, Rights, and Legacy

The Filipino rock scene, particularly the '90s era of Original Pilipino Music (OPM) bands, has seen its fair share of controversies, but few have been as drawn-out and emotionally charged as the feud between Siakol, its splinter group Repakol, and former lead vocalist and chief songwriter Noel Palomo. Siakol was formed in the mid-1990s and quickly rose to prominence with their raw, relatable lyrics and catchy melodies. The band was known for its street-smart takes on everyday Filipino life, often delivered with humor and grit. Key hits like “Lakas Tama,” “Gabay,” “Tropa,” “Inuman Na,” and “Bakit Ba Ganyan” cemented their status as a staple in the OPM rock canon. The creative nucleus of Siakol revolved around Noel Palomo, the group's charismatic frontman and principal songwriter. While breakups in bands are not uncommon, what followed was a contentious fallout that continues to reverberate in the OPM community. The most significant point of contention? The continued use ...

Prosecutor to Farmer: Respond to Subpoena Now!

With the knowledge that farmers or the masses have no means to get good defense lawyers (except from the Public Attorney's Office or PAO whose officers hardly follow the examples of Attorney General Persida Acosta) fast, if they ever get one at all,  Deputy Provincial Prosecutor James Gerald R. Florendo issued the subpoena below requiring respondent - a farmer from the rural barangays of Santo Domingo in Ilocos Sur, to respond to the accusation of cyber libel, the same day that the farmer received the subpoena delivered by the police in Wednesday, January 7, this tear   The respondent was required to answer the allegations of the town's Municipal Agricultural Officer (MAO) Randy Jose Reburon who filed the case. Apparently, the comment in a social media post "John Park, brother... Please let us help each other... let us make a complain letter . I should be ashamed because the MAO is from our barangay. But there are a lot of complaints. He is ignoring us. he even defies the ...
